We are currently working with a leading agribusiness who is looking to hire a Grains Trader to be based in Singapore.

If you are a candidate with around 3-4 years of working experience within the Grains industry, be it as an Analyst or an Operator looking to enter the Trading realm, this role could be something of interest to you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate the sourcing and trading of grains within Asia.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients and business partners to foster long-term collaborations.
• Contribute to the management of the trading book to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
• Develop and oversee a sustainable and cost-effective movement of grains for clients, including producers, processors, and industrial buyers.
• Collaborate with Trading Manager to assist in new business development, administration, and project support within the region.
• Stay abreast of international market developments and actively explore new trade opportunities.
• Ensure seamless execution of logistics within the operations department.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years of experience in Grains trading industry.
• Proficient in financing solutions related to the industry.
• Possess a strong commercial acumen, coupled with well-established analytical and communication skills.
• Recognize the long-term nature of the business, demonstrating the ability to cultivate enduring relationships.
• Exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit and the capability to work independently.
• Effective and efficient working style in a deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel, as required.
